About
In 1999, armed with nothing more than an analog VHS camera, some household lights, and a dream, Stunod Pictures (as Jbird Entertainment) produced Founder/Director Jason Prugar's film, The Prize.

Stunod Pictures is a group of friends with a passion for telling stories in a visual medium. We are committed to making films telling a variety of stories for a multitude of audiences to enjoy. Each individual plays an equal and diversified role, dabbling is all aspects of filmmaking. Future plans include producing original material, a web series and a feature film. We often work with like-minded individuals and group who share our passion for storytelling.

We often get asked ‘what is a stunod?’, as well as how you pronounce it. The word is pronounced STEW-nod and while I’d like to say it’s a play on words or something that has an esoteric meaning, it is very simply "donuts" backwards.
It stems back to my elementary school days when a friend of mine, Steve Strouse, use to call everything and their mother a stunod. It came up again a couple of years ago when my son was getting old enough to repeat what I was saying. I called my brother a Stunod around my son when he was being a moron and I needed a nice name to call him. My son loved it, laughing so hard he got the hiccups. When it came time to change our name, Stunod Pictures was chosen.
