ABOUT THE FILM

All great artists have muses, but the collaborations don't always go smoothly. The muse wants to tell a great story, the author wants to make some money and pay the bills. This difference in goals can be brutal on the relationship when both players are determined to win. Musings is the story of a children's writer at the end of his career looking for one more story he can sell to a publisher and his muse who's trying to push him towards greatness.

MEET THE CAST AND CREW

                                                                                       Rebecca Bartlett

Rebecca Bartlett is obsessed with dragons. The dopey, long-tailed fantasy creatures find their way into much of her work from her Young Adult trilogy, "Adventures of a Teenage Muse" to "Musings" where an aging author explores his love/hate relationship with the beast who's great for the creative process, but hard on the ego. Rebecca lives in eastern Pennsylvania with her family which includes a dog and two cats but, sadly, no dragons. You can find Rebecca on the world wide web at http://www.rebeccabartlettauthor.com/site.html.

                                                                                       Charles Kiernan

Storyteller Charles Kiernan, now retired from gainful employment, performs at theatres, listening clubs, schools, libraries, and festivals. He has, of late, been fobbing himself off as Mark Twain with some success. Charles also specializes in the Brothers Grimm and other fairy tales. He prefers telling them to adults. His acting credits previous to Musings have been in the Spaceship Brain productions of Hot or not hot.com, Life Untitled, Poppery of Moppery, and The Big Presentation.

In addition, Charles actually is a writer, best known for his blog “Fairy Tale of the Month”
(
http://chaztales.wordpress.com). His middle grade novel, Ailuros, resides with his agent, looking for a publishing home. Two other middle grade novels are in progress. Charles can also be found online at
