WHAT THE SOURCES SAY

"For some reason, most of my films are comedies," Writer-Director Jason Prugar said. "I have my moments , but I'm no Dave Chappelle. And I figured now was the time to branch out creatively."

Thus, Sources Say was born. "Bullying is a big deal in America, especially in schools. But that's not the only place you can find it, " Prugar said.  "I wanted to show it in the corporate world.

"And I wanted to tell it from the viewpoint of those that could do something about it: the people who witness it.. Sadly many people see bullying - especially in schools - but don't do anything about it."

Due to life happening, Prugar's long-time filmmaking team of Bryan Schaefer and Trevor Stynes were not available to assist with production.  But, as with The Promotion, Jason's life partner, Michelle, would be by his side. Her office would provide the backdrop for the film. As with last year's film, production commenced the weekend between Christmas and New Year's Day.

As is custom with Prugar's films, there was an unexpected hiccup: it rained on Sunday. While Prugar tried his best ot film all exterior shots on Saturday, but some things - a fire truck! - couldn't happen until Sunday. But the cast and crew not only didn't mind, it turned out to be a blessing.

"Once you see the film, you'll see how the rain adds to the story. It's another character. I'm happy how the film turned out. With a drama down, I think I'll turn to action next."
